Eggs 295: Leading a team made up of "the smartest people in the room" with Christian Espinosa

Christian is the best-selling author of the popular book, The Smartest Person in the Room, an entrepreneur, a cybersecurity engineer, a certified high-performance coach, professor, and lover of heavy metal music and spicy food. He’s also an Air Force veteran and Ironman triathlete.

Christian used to value being the “smartest guy in the room,” only to realize that his greatest contribution to the fight against cybercrime is his ability to bring awareness to the issue through effective communication and leadership training — something not always available to the high-IQ people building the systems. He has made it his focus, through his coaching, speaking, and training, to make the smartest people in the room also the best leaders in the space.

Joining the show today for a conversation about his entrepreneurial journey, why we are losing the cybersecurity war, how to handle a team made up of “smartest people in the room,” developing emotional intelligence and so much more. Please join us in welcoming to the show, Christian Espinosa.
