About EGGS!

A podcast exploring creativity, entrepreneurship, branding, and the people behind interesting work.

What is EGGS?

EGGS! is a long-form interview show about the work of building. Ryan Roghaar and Mike Smith sit down with one guest at a time — usually for an hour, sometimes more — and ask the questions that don't get asked on the highlight-reel circuit: How did the thing actually start? What broke along the way? What did the people who helped you most have in common? What would you tell yourself fifteen years ago?

We've been doing this since May 2017. The conversations range from solo creative practitioners to people running organizations of 30,000+. The specific category doesn't matter; what matters is that the guest is actively building something and willing to talk about how it really goes.

What Makes EGGS! Different

Depth Over Surface

We go beyond the highlight reel. Our conversations explore the messy middle, the strategic decisions, and the real challenges behind successful creative work.

Practitioners, Not Pundits

Every guest is actively building, creating, or leading. We feature people doing the work, not just talking about it.

Strategy Meets Craft

We bridge the gap between business and creativity. The best work happens when strategic thinking meets exceptional craft—we explore both.

EGGS! explores the themes that matter most to people building creative careers and businesses in a rapidly changing landscape.
