If you're building something real and you want to talk about how — for an hour, at depth, with two people who'll actually listen — this is the page.
Before you pitch
We book people who are actively doing the work. Founders, designers, technologists, athletes, investors, operators, artists — the specific category doesn't matter; what matters is that you're building something and willing to talk about how it really goes.
We don't book:
- People whose only credential is having an opinion
- Generic "thought leadership" pitches
- Anything that arrived as a blast template (we can usually tell)
If your pitch reads like it could have been sent to 50 other podcasts with the show name swapped out, please don't send it. We won't reply, and you'll have wasted a few minutes you could have spent on a show that's a better fit.
If you're a publicist or representative pitching a client, that's fine — just write the pitch in their voice with their specifics, not yours.
Send your pitch
After you submit
If your pitch resonates, we'll reach out within two weeks to schedule. If you don't hear from us, it simply wasn't the right fit for the show at this time—not a comment on your work. We don't send rejection emails because they tend to start conversations neither of us has time for. If your work evolves or your story changes, feel free to apply again in six months. We don't maintain a waitlist or keep submissions on file.
A few common questions
How long is the interview?
All shows are booked in 60-minute blocks, but we won't let the clock get in the way of a good conversation. If things are flowing, we might go 65 minutes. If we've covered everything in 45, we'll call it a wrap. No pressure. The goal is a great conversation—not filling time.
Remote or in person?
We record the show remotely using Riverside. It's easy to use, so don't worry. All you need is a quiet room, a pair of headphones, and a decent microphone. If you have any questions beforehand, just let your booker know.
Do I need to prep?
Not really. We'll come prepared with a few conversation starters and some background notes, but our episodes aren't scripted. We'll handle the preparation—you just bring your perspective.
When does the episode air?
Some episodes are published just a few days after they're recorded, while others may take up to two or three weeks. We'll give you an approximate release window during your recording session.
Can I share it?
Absolutely. In fact, we'd be disappointed if you didn't. We'll send you graphics and video clips that make sharing easy, and with proper attribution, you're also welcome to create your own.
